It's a long road out of Los Angeles, for the Eagles, it looks like this may well be the end of the road. A road they have been traveling for 37 years. After being brought together in 1971 as a back-up band for Linda Ronstadt, by her then-manager, John Boylan. Backing her on a two month tour, and on her 1970 album,"Silk Purse." They decided to form their own band, with Linda's blessing, they signed with "Asylum Records" in 1970, and thier journey began. Over the next 10 years, they produced, five number 1 singles and four number 1 albums.
The Eagles broke up in 1980, and reunited in 1994. Theyproduced an album a mix of live tracks and new studio tracks, "Hell Freezes Over". They have toured occasionallysince then.
On October 30, 2007, the Eagles released "Long Road Out Of Eden", their first studio album of new material in 28 years, since 1979. Was it worth the wait? You betcha. Staying true to The Eagles unique sound, those amazing vocal harmonies, and the brilliant guitar work of Joe Walsh, this album is pure Eagles at their best.
